SWITZERLAND - When you think of Switzerland you think of neutrality, banks, and international organizations. All true! The last time it was involved in a war was 1815. It is the birthplace of the Red Cross, and the second largest United Nations office is in Geneva. If someone's money is not readily discoverable, we always say it's in a Swiss bank.
Switzerland is one of the richest countries in the world by per capita gross domestic product and has the highest wealth per adult (financial and non-financial assets) of any country in the world. Zurich and Geneva have respectively been ranked as the cities with the second and eighth highest quality of life in the world. It has the world's nineteenth largest economy by nominal GDP and the thirty-sixth largest by purchasing power parity. It is the twentieth largest exporter and eighteenth largest importer of goods.
The business community is highly educated and experienced. My work there has been communication skills for leaders. Leaders communicate better, and our leadership roles increase as we communicate better and with more confidence.
